IAre you one of those people who reads about everything on the internet? If you hear about something that you don’t understand, do you run to the internet to read about it? These days the internet has replaced things like Encyclopedias, dictionaries and even newspapers to some extent. However convenient that this may be, it can also be somewhat dangerous. For instance, if you want to read about information on steroids, a decade ago you would go to the library and take out books, or even read an encyclopedia. Now, you don’t even have to leave your house, because you can read about steroids online. The problem with this is that not all information that is on the internet is 100% accurate. And the bigger problem is that if you don’t really put some thought into that statement, you can find yourself believing everything you read on the internet.
When it comes to something that can have serious side effects like steroids, you want to make sure that the information that you are reading is correct. Reading about steroids online may be convenient, but you have to be careful what you read. For instance, on one site you might read that steroids is not really harmful, and on another site it might list a dozen side effects. The problem is, on some of those sites, not even all of those side effects may be correct as well as you don’t know if that is the complete list.
The only way you can possibly know if what you are reading about steroids online is true, is by consulting your physician.
